Plot

Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-running rivalry reaches its climax. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. I really enjoyed the series and watched the whole thing in two days. I couldn’t pick a single character that stood out, all the actors did a fantastic job. I thought their facial expressions and the way they delivered their dialogue really enhanced the story. As an 80s fan, the decor, the costumes and of course the music were a fantastic bonus. Whoever was responsible for the music: you’re a genius. The timing of some of the songs was perfect. For me, the erotic scenes could have been less explicit, which is why I’m giving it 9 stars instead of 10. I really hope there’s a new season, I can’t wait to watch it!
