It tells the story of three very different families competing for the same 20th century home. A 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they thought would solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age series (2002-present). It took a while. a while to figure out where and how things were going to go. And it took a while to find the balance between dark and gloomy humor and what ultimately turned out to be quite crazy. It was hard to connect with the characters at first, who were generally bland or malevolent… I could see why some people would watch an episode and switch off. There’s so much to see, so much to drink, so little time… But I think persistence pays off here. Some might find the packaging a little too cheesy, but there’s nothing wrong with being sentimental this time of year. I really enjoyed it..
