Abrams’ “Lost” had an almost entirely different cast
Plot
The survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island… J.J. See which celebrities missed out on one of the most popular TV shows of all time. The character Sawyer was originally conceived to be an older, slick city hustler from Buffalo, NY. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and subsequently kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the fun he brought to the character Sawyer and decided to write Sawyer as more of a darker, Southern drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season.
Adapted from Lost: The Journey (2005)
However, when the Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, in Korea, it’s not even allowed to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare circumstances… [repeated line] Desmond Hume: See you in another life, bro.. Weird opening credits drawn by J.J. Abrams on his black and white laptop in homage to the Twilight Zone.. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of the show LOST.
Well, let’s put it this way
You’ve seen the demos, read the 5-star reviews, and heard the water cooler chatter about it. If you haven’t started watching it yet, you’re probably wondering if you should. If you like action shows, you’ll love LOST. If you like shows with complex characters and interactions, you’ll love LOST. If you like shows with drama, mystery, and suspense, you’ll love LOST. If you like shows with humor, you’ll like LOST shows.
At first, there’s confusion
If you like shows where you can watch an episode twice and see it in a completely different way, you’ll love LOST. If you like shows where every scene has its own meaning… Get it? Simply put, if you’ve ever watched a TV show, you’ll be thrilled. LOST is a series about a plane crash on a mysterious island. 48 people survive, but the show revolves around 14, all of whom have secrets.
Bottom line, watch it
But as the series progresses, friendships develop and we learn that there’s more to the island than meets the eye… The characters are fantastic – don’t listen to anyone who says the cast is so diverse. It’s a cliché, they’re probably the same people who would criticize it if it was all white. You’ll be thrilled, unless you’re one of those idiots who gets a hernia if every detail in the first episode isn’t right. If not, I have to ask you a question… Why aren’t you watching 10/10?
