Plot

A farming family in Montana encounters others invading their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned hand in the Rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget”; his mountain accent and reverts to the SoCal speaking voice he usually uses. Yellowstone is a well-written drama – great characters, well-constructed – that is based on several different modern masterpieces. It has the feel and cinematography of Longmire, the serious plot and perspective of The Sopranos, and the dramatic dynamics of shows like Dynasty; or any other network drama like that. Big credit to Costner and Cole Hauser, these guys give it 100%. I didn’t expect to be drawn to this show the way I was. Worth your time..
