I’ve always liked Stallone over the years, yes he’s been addicted to the sequel but he’s made some really enjoyable movies, spewing out a few classics. Tulsa King may be his best work from an acting perspective alone, where he just coldly steps into the role of a mob caper.
Fun to watch, worth watching
The show itself has an interesting story, is well written, takes full advantage of the New York mobster humor in Tulsa Oklahoma without getting silly, throw in some healthy violence, good writing and dialogue, and a great cast of supporting actors and characters and they have a winner.
